New experience for stakeholders with both grants and direct shares 🙌
Stakeholders with both grants and direct shares can now choose between the holdings dashboard and the grants dashboard. These stakeholders will be able to see both options in the navigation, and on their first login they will be greeted by a landing page that presents both experiences. This will also apply to stakeholders with grants and convertible notes.
Advanced stakeholder settings for grantholders 📐
- If a company sets up Basic grantholder settings, the grantholder will see the Estimated return on grants card, but not the equity calculator.
- If a company sets up Advanced grantholder settings, the grantholder will see the Estimated return on grants card as well as the Equity Calculator.
New vesting terminology 📰
The terminology for two of our vesting scheduled has been updated to the following:
- Automatic vesting is now called Time-based vesting
- Vesting Condition is now called Performance-based

Authenticator app as two factor authentication method 🈸
Users will now be able to choose freely between SMS and Authenticator apps (or both!) as a two factor authentication method when logging in to Capdesk from Carta.
In addition to the SMS method, we have now launched the authenticator app as a new method. You can find how to set this up here.
Full cap table access level for investors 💯
The last option part of the investor access settings which gives them full cap table access has been released.
With this option, any investor in a company with full access enabled will now be able to see the fully diluted details and drill-down (on a share class level) per stakeholder in the cap table. In addition, this option allows investors to export the exit modelling and capitalization table reports on top of the already enabled round modelling export.
Grants can now be corrected in bulk ✒️✒️
Multiple published grant issuances can now be corrected in bulk. Select the grants you want to correct, download a file to make the corrections, upload the file and click correct.
You can even reference documents in the correction file to add documents to grant issuances. The documents have to be uploaded as part of the flow.
Grantholders will be notified and there is an audit trail of the corrections. You can find all the details of this feature as well as a step by step process here.
