To export the incentive pool history, navigate to Equity > Incentive Pool > Export.
The Incentive Pool History is a complete export of all transactions affecting the incentive pool of your company. You are able to include drafted securities and revoked securities in the export.
To export the incentive pool history, navigate to Equity > Incentive Pool > Export.
Once requested, the report will be generated and sent to your email address within a few minutes. You can also download the report from the widget at the bottom right of Carta.
If you are not able to see all the details in the report, click the Enable editing button in your Excel file.
This report will provide you with:
- Stakeholder details: Grantholder Name; Grantholder Email.

Transaction details:
- Type: The type of transaction of this entry. It can be Issuance, Cancellation, Exercise, Issuance (Draft) or Cancellation (Draft) or Authorization (increase or decrease of the plan). You can read more about authorizations here: Managing an incentive pool authorisation.
- Quantity: Quantity of equity associated with this transaction. If referring to a cancellation, exercise or decrease of the plan, the number will be negative.
- Granted: Issue date for securities or authorized date for plan authorizations. May differ from the transactioned date, as this should be the date associated with the documentation for issuance/authorization.
- Link: This will provide you the link to the equity award or the authorization in Carta.
- Transactioned: Date of the transaction. If the type is issuance, the date will be the same as in Granted. If it is a different type of transaction, the transactioned date will be the date in which this transaction took place, while the granted date will always refer to the issue date of the grant.

Plan details:
- Plan: Name of the plan to which the authorization or transaction relates to.
- Outstanding: Quantity of outstanding (active) equity is associated with the applicable pool when the transaction took place.
- Exercised: Total quantity of exercised equity awards from the plan associated with that transaction as of the transaction date.
- Available (Column J): Quantity available in the plan as of the transaction date. Calculated by summing up the authorized quantities while taking into consideration what has been issued and canceled from the plan.
- Authorized: Sum of the authorized quantity of that plan as of the transaction date.
- Deferred: If the share class is deferred, it will be left out of all fully diluted calculations. This is defined when creating the share class, you can read more in: Creating share classes.
