Share documents with shareholders or internally in Carta.
Internal Documents
Use this feature to share any documents with other company administrators or with Carta Staff.
1. Navigate to Documents > Internal documents.
2. Click New folder.
3. Give the folder a name and click Create folder.
4. Click the folder just created and click Upload files or drag and drop the files you find relevant.
5. Click New folder within the folder created to create a sub-folder.
6. Clicking the actions button on the far right hand side of the file will give the following options:
- File details - this will show the file information and audit trail;
- Open file - this will open the file within the browser;
- Download file - this will download the file;
- Delete file - this will remove the file.
Once a folder has been created, click the actions button on the far right hand side to:
- Download folder - this will create a compressed file with all content inside the folder;
- Archive folder - this will archive the folder and move it to the Archived tab;
- Rename folder - this will modify the folder's name;
- Delete folder - this will delete the folder and all its content.
Shareholder Documents
Use this feature to share documents with the company's shareholders.
1. Navigate to Documents > Shareholder documents and click Upload a New Documents.
2. Click Upload a New Document.
3. Choose the file, select a category from the dropdown and click Upload.
4. Click Delete to remove the file.
The shareholders will now be able to log on, view and download the documents you have uploaded.
Please note, any files uploaded here will be visible for all shareholders across the company. |
