Primarily for employees, the dashboard offers a detailed view of your grants such as the vesting schedule, grants timeline or the estimated value of your grants (if applicable).
If you are both a shareholder and a grantholder, you can access the Dashboard view once you log in to your account, by clicking on the Dashboard icon on the top right corner of your page.
If however, you do not hold any shares yet but have been given equity grants, once you log in to your account, you are redirected straight to the dashboard page. On this page, you can see the following sections:
- Securities distribution
- Vesting schedule
- Estimated return of grants and shares (if applicable)
- Your grants
- Grant timeline
- Equity calculator
At the top of the page, you will see any new notifications of grant issuances or active exercises.
Securities Distribution
This section shows the distribution of different security types in your portfolio such as shares, option grants or warrants. On the right-hand side of the box, you can view the actual numbers and percentages of your investments, whilst the left-hand side represents the same information in a donut chart.
By clicking the See portfolio button on the top right corner, you will be taken to the Portfolio page of your account. Please note that if you only have holdings in one company, the portfolio page will not be available.
Vesting Schedule
This shows what the vesting schedule looks like and how it will progress. The cliff is a point in time after which vesting begins, typically set at 12 months.
Cliffs are indicated in grey whilst the bars show equity accumulating as it vests over time. For employees on multiple different schedules, these are overlaid within the same graph. Performance-based grants – where shares vest all at once after an employee hits a certain target – are displayed as a single bar in the same chart, and clearly labelled.
Estimated Return of Grants and Shares (if applicable)
This section will only show on your account if the company that issued you the grant(s) has added the relevant valuations related to the grant(s) for the information to be shown. If you are not seeing this section, please contact the company directly as they will be able to clarify.
The information is broken down into the estimated value of the total vested shares and the estimated value of the total unvested shares.
By clicking on the See breakdown button on the top right corner of the box, you'll be able to see a detailed view of the estimated value of vested and unvested shares for each grant you have been issued.
Your Grants
This section is an overview of all the grants you have been issued, detailing information such as the number of grants issued, the number of vested as well as what is left to vest or exercised (if applicable). You can have a quick view of these details, by navigating through the slider, or you can click on the Grant details button in the top right corner, to dive into a more detailed view.
Grant Timeline
The grant timeline section will help you track milestone events for your equity such as grant issuance dates, grants which have fully vested or exercise windows being opened.
By clicking on any blue option grant link, you will be automatically taken to the detailed view of that specific grant.
Equity Calculator
You are also able to enter a custom share price to see how it affects the estimated return of your grants, and reset to the current share value when you're done. Simply slide the equity calculator bar to the right hand-side and check the new values displayed.
