Carta makes it easy for you to manage and review your funding rounds.
1. Navigate to Fundraising > Funding rounds > Rounds.
2. In the Rounds page you will find the following details:
- Name: The name of the financing round - if the name needs to be corrected, click the Actions button to the far right and select Edit.
- Amount raised: The amount of money raised by transactions tagged to this funding round. This number also includes the cash raised by the issuance of convertible loan notes.
- Share price: The highest share price attributed to a transaction in the funding round. Transfers do not impact share price associated with the round.
- Shares issued: The total number of shares issued in the funding round. This also includes the number of share resulting from the conversion of convertible loan notes.
- Fully diluted: The total number of shares outstanding, including options. This number will also include the incentive pool allocations and will reflect the position at the start date of the round
- Post money value: Calculated using the number of fully diluted shares and the share class price per share of that round.
Post money valuation = share price x number of fully diluted shares.
- Start date: The date of the first transaction attributed to the funding round.
3. Click on a funding round to review detailed information such as end date of the round (date of the last transaction attributed to the round) as well the number of transactions associated with the round.
Please note, if the selected currency for your account is different from the currency of the share class, the amounts associated with the rounds will have the daily conversion ratio applied. You can modify the currency in your account following the steps outlined here. |
