Creating a Share Certificate Template

In issuing share certificates, we allow for you to use your own share certificate template which requires Carta placeholders.

You can electronically generate and issue (sign) share certificates. We offer a standard share certificate template, however, you can also use your own.

Prepare and Upload Template

1. Go to Ownership > Shares > Certificates.

2. Click Template > Upload.

3. Select the type (Witnessed share certificate or Signatureless share certificate) and name the certificate. Click Next.

4.  Click Add dynamic document to upload your own personalized share certificate template utilizing the placeholders or customize the downloadable template to align with your preferences and upload it. Save to proceed.

5. Review the share certificate template details and click Finish. 

Upload Template / Update all

1. Go to Ownership > Shares > Certificates.

2. Upload the new template.

3. To update all current registered and in draft certificate with a new template, once added, click Template then Update all.

Preview Template

1. Go to Shares > Certificates > Template > Preview template. 

2. Click Download.
